Roasted Dishes
One of the most common food items you can cook in our backyard brick oven is roasted vegetables. Roasting vegetables in a brick oven is a great way to bring out their natural sweetness and texture. We recommend cutting vegetables like squash, potatoes, and peppers into medium-sized chunks and tossing them with olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs before roasting for about 30 minutes at 400°F. When combining “potatoes or carrots” with peppers tomato’s and zucchini it bet to blanch them first as they take more time to cook.
As your vegetables cook be sure to turn them as you the char and this way you have an even cook and they come out amzing!
